Pinelake Revive

Revive!

We are excited to announce that on Friday, January 20, 2012, Pinelake will be hosting Revive! This ministry is a parents' night out for parents of children with special needs. Siblings are welcome! Beginning at 6:30, parents can drop off their children in a safe environment and spend some time rekindling their marriage. The children will be engaged in music, crafts, Bible stories, and fun fellowship until 9:00! All that is required is registration by January 13.

In addition to Revive, Special Connection, the small group Bible study for parents of children with special needs, will begin a new study on Sunday, January 15 at 5:30 p.m in The Den. Our book this semester will be Glorious Intruder by Joni Eareckson Tada. You may also contact Beth for this as well. Childcare is provided.

Summer Grow Conference

July 30, 2011- Come join us to brainstorm how to grow our special needs ministry at Pinelake. Childcare is provided with registration by July 24.

Grow Conference- March 26, 2011 8:00 a.m-12:00 p.m

We are excited that the Sonrays ministry will be involved in the upcoming Grow conference being held at the church. There will be 2 break out sessions- one for current and interested volunteers for our Sunday morning classes and a second session for parents and volunteers to discuss the future of our special needs ministry. We will worship and brunch will also be provided. Mark your calendar for March 26 and plan on attending! You'll need to fill out a registration form indicating which session(s) you'll be attending. You may attend both or just one. It's your choice! Those can be found at the preschool desk or by logging in to myPinelake, clicking on the calendar tab, locating Grow conference on March 26, clicking "more details", and following the link provided. New Small Group Semester

The new semester for Special Connection, the small group for parents of special needs children, will begin January 9, 2011. We will be doing Special Strength for Special Parents by Nina Fuller for our study. Feel free to contact Beth Barham at beth.barham@gmail.com for information.

9:30 Class Added

Good news in the world of Sonrays! We have added a 9:30 class now for our Sonrays students, so the parents have more than one option as to which worship service they can attend! In addition, God has blessed us with our very own room to use on Sunday mornings. We are now located in P106.

Please mark your calendars for September 12, the first meeting of our Special Connection Small Group! We'll meet at 5:30 every Sunday night in the The Den. The study we will be working on is entitled Downpour, and the workbook can be purchased at The Source. Just ask for it at the counter. I believe they are $17. I look forward to seeing everyone!
